We took five kittens abandoned outside our building into foster care. One of them needed to stay at the veterinary clinic. We were unable to save him.
A kitten we could not save
From our archive
We could not leave them there
Five siblings, each weighing around 400 grams, were abandoned outside our building. We took them into one of our foster homes, where we were already caring for other kittens.
We sought veterinary help
One of the kittens was admitted to Franco Vet. He had a rectal prolapse, and the vets also suspected panleukopenia, although his initial test was negative. We were trying to give him a chance before we had even managed to name him.
This time, we could not save him
Our update brought sad news: the kitten at the clinic had died. His story remains part of our work, alongside the stories of animals who did recover.

We named her Seraphina and took her to the vet. After a hard life on the streets, this cat of around ten years old needed treatment and somewhere safe to stay.
We took her into our care
