We promised to help a kitten with a diaphragmatic hernia if he could be caught. When he arrived from Slatina, we arranged for him to stay at Franco Vet.

We kept our promise
The kitten arrived from Slatina with a severe diaphragmatic hernia. We did not know for certain whether a person or a car had injured him. We had promised to help if he could be caught, and we kept that promise.
Surgery was the next step
We arranged for him to stay at Franco Vet, with surgery planned for the following day. A place for him after discharge was also being sought, because our foster homes were full.

We named her Seraphina and took her to the vet. After a hard life on the streets, this cat of around ten years old needed treatment and somewhere safe to stay.
We took her into our care
